The SOO 200 showcases the breathtaking landscapes of Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma region, featuring the challenging terrain of the Canadian Shield. This 200-mile course combines various surfaces such as single and double track, dirt roads, cross-country paths, and even beach running, requiring skills in route-finding and navigation through rugged areas. Competitors will face demanding conditions and test their physical and mental limits. With checkpoints spaced every 20 to 40 kilometers, participants must also carry a Garmin inReach for safety and navigation. It's a true trial against the wild landscape, where only the toughest will prevail.
