Beast of the Blacks Ultra 40 Mi Plus 20 & 10 Mile

The Beast of the Blacks presents an exhilarating challenge set in the stunning Black Mountains of Wales, welcoming both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Participants can choose from three routes—10, 20, or 40 miles—each lined with enthusiastic marshals, ensuring a supportive environment as you take on this remarkable journey. Starting near Llanbedr, runners will ascend into the mountains, enjoying breathtaking views along a varied course that includes forest trails, river crossings, and ancient churches. You'll encounter abundant wildlife, with red kites gracing the sky as you traverse the stunning terrain in springtime. Canicross is also welcome, allowing participants to enjoy this adventure with their dogs while ensuring they remain leashed and under control.
