Registration is anticipated to open soon, with a limited number of spots available. This unmarked, open-road adventure allows participants to traverse an exhilarating point-to-point course set amidst the stunning Lowcountry scenery, encompassing the beauty of day and night. Starting from the West Ashley Greenway, the route features significant landmarks, including the Ashley River Bridge, the Citadel, and Sullivan's Island, ultimately concluding at the Peyton Johnson Moore Track and Field. As a self-supported race, runners will need to arrange their own support and navigate the open roads without course markings or scheduled aid stations. However, the route offers numerous opportunities to refuel at gas stations and eateries. Runners have approximately 18 hours to complete the 50-mile challenge, finishing with a timed lap around the track. This event commemorates Peyton Johnson Moore, with all proceeds contributing to his memorial fund.
