The Fancy Nonsense 25k/50k challenges both your mental and physical endurance while adding a touch of humor. Set in the scenic Palos Trail system, located just southwest of Chicago, the course features single-track trails with some elevation changes to keep you on your toes. Runners will encounter three well-placed aid stations during the double out-and-back course, ensuring hydration and support. Along the way, participants will also have the unique opportunity to pass by the historic site of Chicago Pile-1, the world’s first nuclear reactor, adding an intriguing element to the race.
