The race starts and ends at Falls Creek Trailhead, showcasing the wild beauty of Capitol Forest. Participants will tackle a variety of challenging terrain, featuring rugged single track trails and demanding gravel road sections. The 50-mile course includes a scenic viewpoint from Capitol Peak and incorporates an out-and-back on the Porter Trail, rewarding runners with stunning vistas depending on the weather. Both distances offer important aid stations, with the 50-mile route providing seven, starting with water and minimal food at the first. The race concludes with a tranquil descent back to the Falls Creek Trailhead, ensuring a memorable finish.
