The "Big Deal at Great Seal" race offers challenging courses with two main distances: 50k and 25k. Participants will navigate a scenic 25k loop primarily composed of single track trails, punctuated by a short stretch of dual track and two road crossings. The course features an impressive elevation gain of around 2800 feet, reflecting the rugged beauty of the southern Ohio Appalachian Foothills. Runners will be motivated by various awards, including cash prizes for the top male and female finishers in each distance and special "Golden Goat" awards for those who complete the 50k in under 6.5 hours. With a cut-off time of 7:00 pm, competitors must also finish their first 25k loop of the 50k within 5.5 hours to continue to the next segment.
