The Secret Beach 100K/50K is a unique ultra marathon set against the breathtaking backdrop of the rugged southern Oregon Coast. Runners will traverse a variety of terrains, including sandy beaches, single-track trails, and some road sections, offering stunning coastal views that are perfect for capturing on camera. The 100K follows an out-and-back route from the Gold Beach Visitors Center to House Rock Viewpoint with a significant elevation gain of 12,400 ft, while the 50K spans from House Rock to the Visitors Center with a gain of 6,000 ft. Though the elevation profiles may suggest ease, the course presents challenges with steep climbs, rough trails, and soft sand, along with the possible hindrance of strong headwinds.
