Join us at River Pavilion on Picnic Island in scenic Riverbend Park for an engaging running experience! Take on a 5k-ish loop (3.2 miles) along the calm Loxahatchee River, featuring gravel paths through oak and cabbage palm areas, where you can spot wildlife like deer, turkeys, and various birds. This community-focused event celebrates nature, offering both a 12-Hour challenge and a 50K race. The 12-Hour event allows runners to complete as many loops as possible within the time limit, while the 50K consists of two shorter loops followed by several 3.25-mile loops. This low-key race encourages camaraderie and self-sufficiency, complemented by a potluck snack atmosphere. All proceeds beyond basic expenses will support the local Florida Trail Association chapter.
