The OSS/CIA 50 Mile Night Run navigates the historic trails of Prince William Forest Park, a site steeped in World War II history as the training ground for the Office of Strategic Services, the CIA's predecessor. Runners have a maximum of 14 hours to complete this challenging course that consists of two expansive 25.5-mile loops, ensuring they experience both the thrill of night running and the park's diverse terrain. Participants begin just before sunset, engaging in a unique adventure as they traverse sections of the course under the cover of darkness, highlighting the park's mysterious atmosphere. This race not only tests endurance but also immerses runners in the untold stories of the CIA's origins.
