The race offers a remarkable journey along the National Trail, commencing from the picturesque North Wales Coast at Prestatyn and winding southward. Competitors have 24 hours to cover as much distance as possible, with winners determined at noon based on their locations on the trail. Participants can choose to run or walk, supported by well-stocked checkpoints offering provisions. GPS trackers enable real-time progress monitoring, while designated support teams can assist participants throughout the event. This challenging adventure features multiple checkpoints, each equipped with food and facilities, catering to varied paces with an average of just over 2 mph. Runners must carry essential safety gear, including a waterproof cover, survival shelter, and a charged mobile phone. Whether entered as individuals or teams—where members can switch out during the race—each participant will receive a medal and certificate upon completion, celebrating their accomplishments along this stunning route.
