The Myrtle Beach 24 Hour Endurance Run is a new event hosted by the city's Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism Department, taking place in the scenic Market Common area. Runners will tackle a 1.1-mile paved loop, where they can start anytime within the designated 24-hour window. The course allows participants to pace themselves, aiming for distances of 100 miles or more to earn a special buckle, while all finishers under 100 miles receive a medal. Competitors must remain on the course throughout the event, with breaks limited to specific areas along the route. Awards will honor the top three male and female runners, elevating the challenge and camaraderie of this endurance test.
