The Ice Age Trail 50 is a renowned ultra-marathon that weaves through the breathtaking Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Wisconsin's Southern Kettle Moraine Forest. As participants navigate this picturesque course, they will encounter unique geological formations from the last Ice Age, as well as a variety of landscapes including dense forests, natural prairies, ponds, marshes, and kettles. Runners experience a mix of terrain, from flat, grassy double-track to challenging, twisting single-track trails that feature several hills.
