The Copper Canyons Endurance Runs offer a unique blend of athleticism and cultural experience in the awe-inspiring Barrancas del Cobre, also known as the Sierra Tarahumara—the largest canyon system in North America. Participants will run alongside the renowned Raramuri endurance runners, immersing themselves in ancient trails that showcase breathtaking landscapes filled with steep ascents, technical descents, and verdant valleys. This challenging journey not only promises an unforgettable running experience but also emphasizes community and connection, reflecting the enduring spirit of the late Micah True's message of love and unity. In addition to the race, athletes will engage in multi-day educational and cultural sessions within Camp Corre Libre. Participants will learn running techniques from endurance legends while enjoying rich cultural festivities, including music, dance, traditional foods, and storytelling. The culmination of this adventure leads to a vibrant festival that celebrates the region’s heritage and sense of community, ensuring memories that will last a lifetime.
