The Cruel Jewel 100 is an impressive 105.9-mile foot race set amidst the stunning Chattahoochee National Forest in the North Georgia Mountains. Racers will traverse 95 miles of trails and 11 miles of mountain roads, encountering 20 aid stations along the way. The course features challenging and technical single track trails, steep ascents and descents, lush hardwood forests, and an iconic steel bridge over the Toccoa River. Participants will face a demanding total elevation gain and loss of 33,000 feet, providing a true test of endurance and skill. Highlights include the picturesque Dragon's Spine and scenic ridge lines, taking runners through a landscape rich with ferns, ancient poplar trees, rocks, and roots, making the journey both exhilarating and arduous as they make their way from Vogel State Park to Blue Ridge and back.
