Join us for the Sri Chinmoy 24-Hour, 12-Hour, and Midnight Marathon events set in the scenic Rockland Lake State Park, just a short drive from New York City. The race features a fast, flat 2.95-mile paved loop that circles the picturesque Rockland Lake, recognized for its smooth and well-maintained surface, making it ideal for personal bests. The course is USATF certified, ensuring accurate measurements, and about half of it is shaded, with the other half exposed to the elements. Participants in the 24-Hour and 12-Hour categories will benefit from multiple aid stations along the route, while the Midnight Marathon kicks off shortly after midnight. Do note that there are no lights on the course, so headlamps are essential after dark. This race is designed for all abilities, from first-time ultra runners to those aiming for national records. With manual lap counting conducted by race staff, it's crucial to keep your bib visible when passing the counting stations. The event prides itself on providing excellent services, with various food offerings available exclusively for registered runners at the main aid station. Crews and helpers are welcome to support participants but must come prepared with their own food. Medical staff will be on-site for emergencies, and safety measures, such as nighttime cycling patrols, ensure runner security. Athletes will receive custom race shirts and medals, with awards presented for top finishers in various categories. As a celebration of self-transcendence, the event embodies a welcoming atmosphere that encourages runners to surpass their limits and achieve new milestones.
