Participants can choose between a 4-hour and an 8-hour race, navigating a scenic 4-mile loop at the historic Fort McClellan, formerly a significant U.S. Army installation. The route features mild elevation changes with around 300 feet of elevation gain per loop. Runners should remain vigilant due to the presence of potential remnants from the fort's past. An aid station at the start/finish offers refreshments, including snacks and grilled cheese options. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in both categories, and runners can earn medals by completing specific distance challenges, with a T-shirt provided for all registrants.
