The event features a variety of ultra-distance races, including 100 miles, 50 miles, and 50K, set in the scenic DeSoto National Forest, characterized by gently rolling terrain and a mix of single-track and double-track paths. Participants can enjoy a supportive atmosphere with packet pickup at the trailhead and on-site food at the start/finish line, along with finisher mementos and belt buckles for the 50-mile and 100-mile finishers. The 100-mile race poses a unique challenge, as participants must complete the distance within a strict cutoff or receive a DNF. Other runners can opt for the 50-mile or 50K distances, starting on Saturday with the flexibility to switch events after completing loops if needed. Shorter events allow for a 12-hour completion window, giving runners a chance to finish at their own pace while experiencing the beautiful trail.
