The Banana Slug Backyard Ultra, Oregon's inaugural backyard ultra, features a continuous 4.1667-mile loop that must be completed within one hour. As soon as an hour is up, participants embark on another loop, with no cap on time or distance. This unique event culminates in a "last person standing" contest where only the runner who finishes a loop that others cannot will be declared the winner. Set in the beautiful Champoeg State Park, runners will experience picturesque views along the Willamette River, pushing their limits for as long as possible in this challenging endurance race.
