The Namib Race is a challenging 250-kilometer ultramarathon held over six stages in the breathtaking Namib Desert, known as the oldest desert in the world. Participants navigate diverse landscapes, from pristine beaches along the Atlantic to stunning salt pans and vibrant salt lakes populated by flamingos. Runners also traverse the iconic Namib dunes, dry riverbeds with unexpected greenery, and remnants of abandoned oil and diamond mines. The course features expansive red desert plains and hills, making it a unique and demanding adventure amidst spectacular scenery.
