The Summer Solstice race takes advantage of the year’s longest day, inviting participants to challenge themselves on an approximately 3.7 km trail loop. This scenic course features a blend of shaded forest paths and open meadows, accented by a few rolling hills that may feel increasingly daunting with each lap. While the final course details will be confirmed closer to race day based on trail conditions, last year’s setup showcased beautiful scenery. For those who prefer not to run solo, the relay option allows teams of up to five runners to switch off as needed, encouraging camaraderie and fun. Each runner completes the full loop, and the event encourages a festive atmosphere with team tents, food, and cheers for teammates. The unique format, culminating with a supportive finish as the sun sets, makes it likely for participants to achieve personal records. Plus, every participant receives a finisher's medal, a soft-spun t-shirt, and other goodies.
