This 12-hour race invites participants to complete as many 11-mile loops around the scenic Ross Barnett Reservoir as possible, starting and ending at the RunStrong Training Center. The course features predominantly asphalt surfaces, including multi-use paths and neighborhood roads, offering a mix of gently rolling hills and flat stretches. With minimal shade, runners should be prepared for the challenge of Mississippi’s hot summer conditions. Participants will have the opportunity to refuel with a variety of refreshments between loops, including breakfast pancakes, sandwiches, pizza, and snacks. While there is no official on-course support, runners can bring their own hydration supplies, ensuring they keep cool and hydrated. For those wanting to share the challenge, a relay option is also available for teams of up to three members. Remember to carry a water bottle and phone for your safety while tackling this demanding course!
