The Summer Sasquatch 50K is a thrilling trail race featuring a challenging 10.4-mile loop course set within the scenic Salt Fork State Park. Participants will navigate rolling hills and scenic hiking and bridle trails marked by pink blazes and permanent signs. The 50K runners endure a total of three loops, tackling over 4,000 feet of elevation gain and loss, while 20-mile and 10-mile participants will complete two and one loops, respectively. Known for its rugged terrain, the race offers a perfect opportunity to test your trail running skills. Hikers are welcome in the 10-mile event with a generous cut-off time, allowing for a leisurely experience. The Summer Sasquatch serves as an excellent lead-up to the Bigfoot race, encouraging runners to compare their times and build their endurance through the Sasquatch distances.
