The Bluegrass Runners are excited to celebrate the return of the Survive the Night Relays, a unique event that offers three thrilling race options designed for teams to tackle together. Participants can choose from a team triathlon that includes swimming, cycling, and running, covering an impressive distance of over 140 miles collaboratively. Alternately, the Marathon Relay invites teams of up to ten to run a total of 26.2 miles, with a course that is accessible for casual runners and walkers alike. The vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by food, music, and a supportive crowd cheering on teams racing under the stars in pursuit of a noble cause. In addition, there's an Ultra Event for those seeking a greater challenge, allowing individuals or teams to run for six hours or throughout the night on a scenic, grassy trail-like course. Runners can complete as many loops as they'd like within a 12-hour timeframe. Participation not only promises a memorable experience but also contributes to donations for cancer patient support care, aligning with the event's mission to foster teamwork and community spirit. Participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration containers, don team uniforms, and express their creativity while enjoying this fun, overnight race experience.
