Experience Nebraska's inaugural Backyard Ultra, THE LAST COWBOY BACKYARD. Each lap begins and ends at the community center in O'Neill, featuring an out-and-back course along the flat, non-technical Cowboy Trail. This course is perfect for pushing limits, with the potential for impressive mileage records and personal bests. The race consists of 4.17-mile laps, starting every hour, with participants needing to be in the coral at the lap's beginning or face elimination. Runners accumulate mileage for custom wooden awards, and there's a special buckle for the last runner standing. This event welcomes runners of all abilities to challenge themselves and discover how far they can go!
