Experience a thrilling 25-mile out-and-back race on the unspoiled Kilkenny Ridge Trail. This challenging course takes runners from South Pond Rec area in Stark, NH, along stunning and rugged singletrack paths that weave through pristine boreal forests, past serene mountain ponds, and offer breathtaking views from scenic overlooks. Participants will tackle two 4,000-foot peaks and several others over 3,000 feet, amassing a substantial total elevation gain of 15,000 feet. With the trail's remote setting and no road crossings, expect only two aid stations along the route and one more at the turnaround, ensuring an adventurous and solitary experience on the trail.
