Select from the challenging 100-mile solo run or mountain bike ride through the stunning Arizona Trail, spanning from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon. This scenic course traverses ancestral lands of various Indigenous tribes and follows the historic stagecoach route used by tourists in the 1890s. Participants will navigate a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, and forest roads, showcasing high desert and alpine beauty. Starting at around 7,500 feet, the course peaks near 9,000 feet, with the 100-mile race featuring approximately 7,000 feet of elevation gain, while mountain bikers tackle the same terrain within a strict 15-hour cutoff. Runners in the 55K encounter about 2,300 feet of gain, with a 9.5-hour completion limit. Experience the iconic landscapes of ponderosa pines, piñon-juniper forests, and vibrant aspen trees on this epic journey.
