Race day registration opens at 7:00 a.m. in the scenic Bunker Hill area of Gunpowder State Park. Participants will tackle a challenging 15.5-mile loop that features primarily single-track trails, with some stretches of fire road and asphalt. The 25K runners will complete this loop once, while the 50K participants will circle it twice, allowing for flexibility in race distance as runners can adjust mid-race and receive credit for their completed distance. Both races commence at 8:00 a.m. and have a generous 9-hour time limit. Runners can refuel at two mid-loop aid stations and a larger one at the finish, all staffed with helpful volunteers and stocked with typical ultra race provisions. On especially warm days, additional unmanned water stops will be provided for extra hydration.
