The Falling Water Ultras, hosted by Rim to River Endurance Co., offers an exciting ultra running experience in the stunning New River Gorge. Runners will tackle 4 loops of 15.5 miles each on the spectacular trails of ACE Adventure Resort, descending into the national park. This scenic route features the beautiful Rush Run and Arbuckle creeks, leading participants alongside several waterfalls and presenting the challenge of rock-hopping at the Arbuckle Creek crossing. Each loop involves a significant elevation gain and loss of 2,400 feet, with options for solo runners in both 100K and a newly introduced 50K distance, as well as relay teams. Athletes will find a well-stocked aid station at the Start/Finish area, but must carry their own nutrition while on the loop. The race is designed to push boundaries while fostering community spirit and encourages camaraderie. All participants will receive unique awards based on their performance and will be able to enjoy campsite facilities at the start area. Proceeds will benefit Adventure Appalachia, which aims to provide outdoor adventure opportunities in the region.
