Nestled in the Oquirrh Mountains, the race features breathtaking landscapes marked by the majestic Kelsey Peak, White Pine Peak, and the scenic Kennecott Mine Overlook. Runners will traverse steep canyon roads and stunning single-track trails that wind through lush aspen groves and towering pine forests, offering spectacular views from rugged ridgelines. The challenging 55k course demands endurance, featuring a significant ascent to the Kennecott Mine Overlook and crossing the Oquirrh Crest twice, totaling around 14,000 feet of elevation gain. Meanwhile, the 8.5-mile route provides a thrilling experience for both beginner and intermediate trail runners, combining steep ascents with exhilarating descents.
