The Strawberry Solstice Run, organized by the Driftless Trail Collective, features a 10-hour overnight race along a scenic approximately 4-mile loop at the Millville Bridle Unit in Prairie du Chien. Starting at dusk and continuing until dawn, this inaugural event aims to test the waters for a larger future gathering. Participants will enjoy a challenging and immersive nighttime running experience as they navigate the trail under the stars. With a cap of 50 runners, it promises to be an intimate setting for racing enthusiasts. While registration is free, donations to the Driftless Area Land Conservancy are encouraged for those who wish to show their support.
