The RYR Endurance Team proudly presents its inaugural race weekend in the charming river town of Owensboro, KY, featuring marathons on both Saturday and Sunday. The course, which is USATF-certified and a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, is designed with distinct goals: Saturday’s race welcomes a larger field for those completing the marathon without the pressure of qualifying times, while Sunday’s event caters to competitive runners seeking personal bests. Runners can enjoy a picturesque setting on a flat, fast, asphalt greenway, with shaded areas and lovely views of small lakes. The multi-loop layout enhances spectator engagement and simplifies navigation. Starting and finishing at Horse Fork Creek Park, participants will benefit from ample amenities like playgrounds and soccer fields, creating a vibrant race atmosphere.
