Join us for the Kansas Ultrarunners' Society's latest event, the Heat Wave 6/12/24, set at the Rose Hill District Stadium. Runners can choose from 6, 12, or 24-hour events that kick off early in the morning, with nighttime options available for the shorter events. The flat 400-meter track will keep runners engaged as they aim for achieving impressive distances, with live chip timing and a screen displaying cumulative miles at the finish line. Racers will enjoy an aid station stocked with ice, water, and light snacks, including fruit, chips, and cookies, ensuring they stay fueled throughout the challenge. Every four hours, participants will change directions on the track, adding a unique twist to their competition. Bring your own snacks to share, and let’s see how far you can go!
