Introducing the Tails & Trails State Forest Run, this exciting new race showcases the beauty of Pittsfield State Park while supporting local animal rescue charities. The course begins with a brief paved stretch followed by single-track trails that feature gentle rolling hills, rocky segments, and inviting forest scenery. Participants will explore the scenic Whirlpool Ravine and navigate the "Beaver Tail" trails leading to a picturesque Beaver Pond. Runners will enjoy flowy paths through fragrant pine woods, encounter an aid station along the way, and finish the loop amid towering boulders and playful surprises hidden in the forest.
