The race features a course primarily composed of about 80% wooded trails, interspersed with gentle prairie and marshland. Runners will encounter a variety of terrain, including a roller coaster of hills, small rocks, and roots, making for a terrain that can be both challenging and rewarding. While the hills are not particularly steep or long, their frequent occurrence can take a significant toll on runners, earning them the nickname "Silent Killers." Along the way, you'll also enjoy sections with smoothly rolling terrain and the comforting softness of pine needle-covered paths.
