The race begins with a scenic loop at Deer Grove Forest Preserve, featuring a wide, non-technical trail, perfect for all skill levels. For the 50-mile participants, the challenge consists of nine laps, while 50k runners tackle six laps, and 25k competitors run three. There’s a single aid station at the Start/Finish that runners encounter every 5.5 miles, with crews allowed only at this point. Throughout the day, a festive atmosphere will keep spirits high as runners unleash their playful side. Notably, 50-milers can have a pacer after completing four loops. With an overall cutoff time at 8 pm, this event promises a blend of endurance and enjoyment, making it a memorable experience for all involved.
