Set at historic Reehers Camp in the stunning Tillamook State Forest, this event embodies a vibrant springtime running tradition amid cascades of waterfalls and brisk stream crossings, enveloped by lush green foliage and blossoms. The course meanders through the mountainous Tillamook Rainforest, rich with history from the devastating “Tillamook Burn” forest fires. Today, it showcases a flourishing second-growth forest, where runners can explore exquisite single-track trails that reveal striking relics of old growth, such as “grey ghost” snags and charred stumps, remnants of a remarkable ecological transformation.
