Sinks Canyon Trail Races

The Sinks Canyon Rough and Tumble Trail Runs take place in the stunning Sinks Canyon, a gateway to Wyoming's Wind River Mountains. Runners will be immersed in breathtaking views of wildflower-filled meadows, icy peaks, and deep canyons while navigating exhilarating trails. This race, organized by the welcoming Lander Running Club, promises an adventurous and challenging experience catered to mountain enthusiasts. The 50K course features a true mountain running experience, beginning at Bruce’s parking lot with the scenic Sinks Canyon/River Trail. After crossing the highway, participants will tackle steep climbs and technical descents, including Fairfield Ridge and Timbertop Mountain, where panoramic vistas await. Runners will also enjoy a mix of single track and rugged terrain, with opportunities to traverse lovely spots like Worthen Meadows Reservoir before looping back through the canyon to the finish.
