The Skyline Scramble

Participants in the Skyline Scramble will experience stunning vistas of Topeka while navigating a challenging course through the forested southern summit of Skyline Park. The rugged 2.15-mile loop, characterized by rocks, roots, and wooden walkways, culminates at Burnett’s Mound—the highest point in the area, noted for the 1966 tornado. Each loop features an elevation gain of over 250 feet, making the race a true test of endurance with the elevation accumulating throughout your run.
