The Three Sisters Ultra Festival offers a captivating running experience with options for 24, 12, or 6-hour timed events set within the scenic trails of Maryville College Woods. Participants can choose to run at night, enjoying the serene atmosphere under the stars, with the added chance to form teams through relays. This year, the course features a 2-mile loop that begins and ends at the cozy McArthur Pavilion, where runners can access aid and relax by the warm fireplace after each lap. Ideal for newcomers to ultra races, this event allows for varied distances: complete 16 loops for 50K, 31 loops for 100K, or an impressive 50 loops for a unique 100-mile challenge. While it isn't strictly a 100-mile race, all finishers of that distance will earn a commemorative buckle. With live music and activities like disc golf to break up the running, The Three Sisters Ultra Festival promises a fun and engaging atmosphere for all participants.
