The Odyssey Trail Running Rampage presents an exciting challenge with various trail races nestled within the picturesque Douthat State Park in Virginia. Runners will navigate through the diverse mountain landscape, facing steep climbs and swift descents while enjoying stunning vistas of creeks and waterfalls. The race follows a loop format, preserving the heritage of the trails once used in the Odyssey Off-Road Iron-Distance Triathlon. To support the runners, multiple aid stations are strategically placed along the course, offering refreshments and snacks. As a part of the Virginia State Park Adventure Series, participants also have an opportunity to accumulate points toward year-end awards, adding an extra layer of incentive to this thrilling adventure.
