The Mt. Hood 50 is a scenic 50-mile race predominantly along the Pacific Crest Trail, marked by its lush shade. While most of the trail offers solid footing, some sections feature technical challenges with rocks and roots. Runners begin at the Clackamas Ranger Station, heading north to the Frog Lake Aid Station before returning to start their southward trek to the Warm Springs Meadows Aid Station, ultimately making their way back to the finish. Participants will experience a total elevation gain of around 5,630 feet.
