The Worlds End Ultramarathon presents an opportunity to tackle one of the most beautiful and demanding courses available. Set in the scenic Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania, the 100k route leads through rugged single-track trails winding in Loyalsock State Forest and Worlds End State Park. Runners can expect breathtaking overlooks like High Rock Vista and Kettle Creek Vista, alongside picturesque waterfalls such as Double Run and Lee's Falls. As you navigate through this remote terrain, spotting rock formations and wildlife, the challenge becomes evident; the undulating landscape features a notable elevation gain of about 12,000 feet, with technical trails that demand focus and strength. This race is no walk in the park—it's designed for experienced ultrarunners, with a maximum completion time of 19 hours. Participants will be supported by 13 aid stations stocked with both typical ultra snacks and delightful treats like fresh fruit and bacon. The course showcases the beauty of Pennsylvania's wild terrain while testing your stamina and grit over challenging hills and diverse landscapes. After crossing the finish line, unwind with delicious post-race food, reveling in the accomplishment of conquering the formidable trails.
