This challenging 50K race in Maine's Camden Hills State Park offers a unique experience, covering over 90% of the park's scenic trails with minimal overlap. Runners will be captivated by breathtaking views, though the course itself is not for the faint-hearted, featuring steep climbs, rugged terrain, and more than 7,600 feet of elevation gain. With only a handful of short out-and-backs, participants will conquer six significant peaks, encounter beautiful lookouts, and cross numerous streams. While the 11-hour cutoff may sound ample, the physical and mental demands of this course make it a true test of endurance. Aid stations are available along the route, ensuring support for the journey ahead.
