The 24 Hour Lions Roar is an endurance running event featuring 6, 12, and 24-hour races on a scenic 2.5-mile grass loop at Gans Creek Recreation Area, which will also host the NCAA Cross Country Championship. This challenging course is designed for both solo runners and teams, aimed at raising crucial funds for Pascale's Pals, a local organization supporting families at the Children's Hospital in Columbia, MO. Participants can tackle distances of up to 100 miles within the 24-hour race. Competing runners can earn various awards, including custom championship belts for the Tag Team event and belt buckles for completing 100 miles. The event culminates with an awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the racers.
