Runners will embark on an exciting journey starting in Sandusky, Ohio, the famous location of Cedar Point, and making their way south to Mason, home to Kings Island. The course includes a notable stop at The Ohio State Reformatory, recognized from The Shawshank Redemption. This route, inspired by personal journeys, has been deemed perfect for a race experience. Participants will travel from Mason to Sandusky the day before, giving them a generous six days to complete the race for an official finish. The course features mostly low-traffic areas with good shoulders, plus a stretch along a multi-use bike and hike path, making it an inviting option for runners.
