Join the fun at the 54-mile race starting and finishing at the iconic Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort in Colorado Springs. Runners will explore the stunning Garden of the Gods, pass the iconic Balanced Rock, and tackle a challenging 19.5-mile climb up Rampart Range Road, gaining around 4,000 feet to reach the Rainbow Gulch Trailhead. After enjoying scenic trails around Rampart Reservoir, participants will speed down back to the lodge, where a Ram Party awaits with live music and refreshments. Additionally, the 50K course mirrors the 54-mile route but turns around at the halfway mark. Spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range will greet runners as they ascend and descend. The Heavy Half and Heavy Marathon will commence from Rainbow Gulch Trailhead, featuring smooth singletrack paths and breathtaking vistas around the reservoir. Shorter distances, including the 9 Mile and 5K, will also start from the same trailhead, showcasing some of the best singletrack in the area.
